This means that the price of 3G iPhones will fall dramatically, allowing those previously unable to purchase an iPhone to do so in the very near future. Best of all, with no 4G wireless network available in their cities, consumers who purchase a 3G iPhone are essentially getting the most advanced cell phone available in their area at a fraction of the cost. With the eventual release of the 4G iPhone, the number of iPhone 3Gs for sale will jump again, as will the number of 3GS iPhones available, with the cost of both falling dramatically.
